1. Who is responsible for paying duties and taxes on international shipments?
For international orders, the recipient (Consignee) is responsible for paying any applicable customs duties and import taxes upon delivery. These charges are not included in your checkout total and must be paid directly to your country’s customs authority.

2. How much is the import duty?
Import duties and taxes vary by country and depend on your local tariff regulations.
We ship internationally using USPS First Class, and the customs duty is calculated based on the declared value and import rules of your destination country.

Note: We typically declare an invoice value between $20 USD and $150 USD and mark packages as a “gift” to help minimize import duties. However, the final decision on fees is at the discretion of your local customs office.

3. How do we help reduce your import tax?
If you have specific instructions for the declared value on your shipment, please email us at contact@samsungwater.com before your order is processed.
If no instructions are provided, we will determine a declared amount between $20 USD and $150 USD based on the size and weight of the package.

4. What happens if your package faces customs clearance issues?
If your shipment experiences customs clearance delays or issues, we will:

  • Cover any clearance fees incurred;

  • Provide the official shipping invoice you may need to present to customs;

  • Coordinate with USPS to help resolve the issue on your behalf.
